Jaras (“we”) operates a WhatsApp Business messaging platform at tryjaras.com. This policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and what rights people have.
Contact: info@tryjaras.com or WhatsApp +963 981 828 219. The operator’s legal name, address, and commercial registry number will be published on this page when they are finalized. Until then, these two channels are the official way to reach Jaras.
Scope
This policy covers the marketing site, the dashboard, the API, and support channels. By using Jaras you acknowledge that you have read it.
Our role and the customer’s role
For account, organization, wallet, and support data, Jaras is the controller.
For contacts, message text, template variables, campaigns, and the inbox, the customer organization is the controller of its own customers’ data. Jaras processes that data only to deliver WhatsApp messages and to run the dashboard and API. The customer must have a lawful basis to send those messages, including the recipient’s consent where Meta’s policies or the recipient’s local law require it.
Data we collect
From the account: name, email, a hashed password, and a phone number if one is provided.
About the organization: name, country of registration, time zone, and team roles and permissions.
About the wallet: top-up requests in US dollars, a payment note such as a transfer reference, the debit, refund, and adjustment ledger, and number fees.
What the customer uploads or creates: contacts (name, phone, email, tags, and custom fields), templates, message variables, campaigns, and each message status (queued, sent, delivered, read, or failed).
When the inbox is enabled: inbound and outbound message text, media identifiers and types, and the WhatsApp profile name, inside the conversation of the linked number.
On a trial: the trial recipient number, the message limit, and the trial length.
Technical data: hashed API keys, the webhook address the customer chooses, session cookies needed to stay signed in, and a support audit log. If a platform administrator opens an organization account for support, that access is recorded.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it to show third-party ads.
Why we use the data
We use it to create and verify the account, link a WhatsApp Business number, send messages and receive their status, charge the rate for the recipient’s country and Meta category (marketing, utility, authentication, or service), run team permissions, prevent abuse and fraud, answer support requests, and meet accounting and legal duties.
Meta and service providers
To complete a send we pass Meta the recipient number, the template or message content, and the business-account data needed to operate WhatsApp Business. Meta processes that data under its own terms and policies.
We may use hosts for servers, the database, and operational email. They may use the data only to provide the service, and only as far as that requires.
How long we keep data
We keep account, message, and contact data while the account is open. The customer can delete contacts from the dashboard. After the account is closed we delete the data or remove identifiers within a reasonable time, unless an open dispute or an accounting or legal duty requires us to keep the wallet ledger for the period the law requires.
Security
Passwords and API keys are stored hashed or encrypted, and access to customer data is limited by permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We reduce that risk with technical and organizational measures suited to the service.
People’s rights
An account holder may ask to access, correct, or delete their data by emailing info@tryjaras.com. Requests from the customer’s own recipients should go first to the organization that sent the message, because that organization is the controller. We help that organization carry out the request when we are the processor and doing so is necessary and possible.
Children
The service is for businesses and for people who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect children’s data. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close it and delete the related data.
Transfers outside your country
Running WhatsApp through Meta, and hosting the service, may mean data is processed on servers outside the customer’s country or the recipient’s country. That happens only as far as providing the service requires.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we publish the new version on this page with the update date. Continuing to use the service after publication means you have seen the updated version. If a change is material, we notify active account holders at the email on the account.
